This is Roy Powers, our good friend who has agreed to join our journey from Canada to Mexico. We will be picking up Roy in Pocatello in a few weeks so that we can put together our last minute trip plans and go over maps and other aspects of the trip. Roy will be going ahead of us each day and setting up our camp and all of our meals. He will also be in charge of all the logistical support for Jim's wheelchair needs such as charging of batteries and other mechanical aspects of the trip. I worked with Roy years ago at a KOA campground and if there is one thing that I know about him is that he will probably run circles around us all when it comes to the work involved on this trip. I can't wait to have him join us and I know from talking with him that he can't wait either. I know Joel is really excited to have him join the team because he originally was going to fill this position but now thanks to Roy's dedication to this journey Joel is able to join us on bike. Thanks Roy for being apart of this amazing journey.
